Maison Madeleine has decided each Secret Supper Series should give back to the community that supports us by adopting a meaningful non-profit organization. This Fall the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will receive a portion of this season’s total ticket sales.

Ryan Trahan was most recently chef/owner of the restaurant Dark Roux, the acclaimed, regionally inspired, sustainable Southern concept in Lafayette, Louisiana. At Dark Roux, Ryan was named a 2017 "Chef to Watch" by Louisiana Cookin' Magazine. He was raised in Crowley, Louisiana with roots firmly established in Louisiana home cooking. Ryan will focus on the community with fresh, regionally inspired, sustainably sourced local cuisine focused on southern hospitality and Cajun culture.

After graduating from the Art Institute of Houston in 2009, Ryan began working as a line cook at several famed Houston eateries, including Gravitas, Stella Sola and Reef before deciding to spend time staging at various restaurants around the country. Lachaine spent time in some of the most admired restaurants in the nation, including Husk in Charleston, both Cochon and Herbsaint in New Orleans, Animal in LA and Coi in San Francisco. In 2012 he became exec Sous Chef at Underbelly in Houston under Chris Shepherd. Ryan returned to Reef in 2014 as Chef de Cuisine under Bryan Caswell.

Three remarkably accomplished young musicians come together in T’Monde, the Acadian phenomenon that Offbeat Magazine has called “a creative fusion of classic country and out-of-the-way Cajun.” With a combined 10 GRAMMY nominations between members Drew Simon, Megan Brown, and Kelli Jones, T’Monde brings influences ranging from early Country music to ancient French and Creole ballads to present day Cajun music. Born out of friendship and a shared love for the music, T’Monde has developed a unique sound that is unmatched in Cajun music today.  With their latest album, “ Yesterday’s Gone”, the band showcases their influences and musicanship which makes their sound so special.

The son of Cajun music royalty Marc and Ann Savoy, and founder of the Louisiana-based label Valcour Records, Joel Savoy is a versatile fiddler and guitarist and he has played and taught music around the world for the last 20 years.
